Anker

Not just a misspelling.

Just in case you havent already seen this, this it the second of two videos that I shot with Micah Fischer. This one also had some help from our good friend Brenton Salo and Im pretty happy with how it turned out. I will hopefully start working on something new in the near future if i can figure out a way to ride around in this crazy weather, haha.

FINALLY!!! I have finally gotten some of the next run of bags finished and I will be working on finishing the rest of them within the next couple of weeks. The new bags will be the same design as the last bags but will now be 1000d Cordura coated fabric throughout and will also feature a 14oz. tarp liner like most of you are used to seeing in other bags. I am also trying out a slightly thicker strap material with this run of bags. I am very happy with the way these are turning out. The new liner and slightly heavier material gives each bag a little more weight but also helps the bag support its normal shape and support a load a little easier. Otherwise, these bags will be very similar to the first run.

With this run I am also throwing in a few colors, instead of the all black ten bags I did last time. I am very pleased with how these are turning out and plan to do more of these and mix things up a bit in the future. But for now this is where I’m at.

I currently have one of each of the the Black, Green/Black and Red/Black backpacks available and ready for ship out. I managed to take a few terrible pictures to give you some idea of what the new colors look like (I make backpacks not pictures, I will only claim to be good at the first, haha). There is a picture of the four other colors that I still have yet to make and I will also be doing two more all black bags.

As for pricing, it has gone up a little bit. I assure you that these are well worth it. The new price is $200 per bag. For the holiday season I will also include free domestic shipping and half priced international shipping.

Please feel free to email me with any other questions you may have as Im sure I have left some things out.

Thanks for looking!

I have had a chance to get out and do a little riding recently and the weather has been amazing. For anyone that hasn’t seen it yet, here is a short little video that my good friend Micah Fischer put together a little while back. We are going to start working on another one here shortly and Im really excited as the next one will feature both, my fast bike and my trick bike.

Again, Its been waaaay too long!

I have been super busy with moving and just life in general, again haha. I have however started to crack open all of the supplies to start making bags again. I should have another run of ten done within the next two weeks. But first I have to finish a special project which should be done with in the next couple of days.

To anyone who has emailed me about backpacks recently,

I am very sorry if I haven’t gotten back to you yet. I will be going through some emails and getting back to people within the next couple of days.

The next run of backpacks will feature a heavier 14oz tarp liner and will come in a few different colors. I will also be trying out a thicker strap material that should be pretty awesome. None of these changes are due to negative feedback from previous customers, as I haven’t received any. I just want to try a few different things out. As always I will stand behind my craftsmanship 100%.

Its been too long…

Its been a long while since I have updated this. I have been pretty busy with my new job and just life in general. I will be releasing the second run of backpacks very soon and they will feature new colors and a new liner. Im really excited for these new bags and hope that everyone likes them. I had a lot of requests for colors, so I hope these will satisfy.

The weather here in Portland is starting to pick up and with that happening there will be a lot more riding happening so be on the look out for more photos and hopefully some video footage soon!

It was pretty nice out today so Patrick and I headed out with our other friend Josh and did a bit of riding. I found a few things to jump off of or over and the day turned out to be pretty good, except for the fact that my bike took a bit of a beating. I managed to bend my bars a bit more, twist my crank spindle and possibly bend a crank arm. Here are a few shots of me that Patrick managed to snap.

Got out with Sean yesterday and played around a bit on bikes before the rain kicked in

Did some Riding today with Josh (Anker Bagworks, Leader, Entrust) got a few pics in before the rain came down. Every time I ride with Josh he’s better and I’m not? Not sure how that happens but its always fun!

If you like good music…

Check out Young Turks. They are a group of really good dudes and they are heading out on tour today. These dudes are passionate about what they do and it shows in their performance.  If they are passing through anywhere near you, I would definitely recommend making the trip to their show. All of the info about this band including a free download of their album and tour dates can be found on their website: youngheartsbefreetonight.com

Got a chance to get out and do a little riding over the past few days and ended up with some decent pictures as a result. I’m really looking forward to this summer when I can get out and ride a lot more.
